Disclaimer: I don't Rurouni Kenshin, and frankly, if I did it probably wouldn't be as good as it is.

"To save miss Kaoru," Kenshin began in his cold voice that struck terror into Kaoru's heart when she first heard it. His eyes were full of hatred for the man, Jinei before him, "I will become Battousai the Man Slayer once again!" And he brought down his blade, aiming towards Jinei's gray head.
Kaoru could only sit and stare with fear as the sword came closer to execute the other man slayer. Time seemed to slow down, only to torture her more. As she stared at the rebirth of Battousai, she remembered to when she had first met the wanderer.
"A sword," he said in front of all those murderous men of Gohei's, "Is nothing but a tool for murder; something used for nothing but to kill. Miss Kaoru's play talk of a sword being used to protect others is the idea of a person whose hands had never been stained with the blood of others." Kaoru remembered how then, when he looked up that he was smiling. Not the evil, fiendish smile that those killers carried, but a kind smile; one that could fool someone that he was never a man slayer in the first place. "But I would much prefer Miss Kaoru's play talk over truth that I do. Yes, indeed, that is the truth."
Her eyes were swelled with tears as she remembered. Now, she was staring at the the forming opposite of the sweet Kenshin that she grew to know and love. She couldn't bear losing that Kenshin. Her lungs filled a sudden breeze of wind and she forced to yell, "Stop!!" Then just as Kenshin's sword was about to connect with Jinei's head, it stopped upon hearing Kaoru's voice. The red haired samurai turned his head to female swordsman, his eyes no longer carrying hate, but a look of gladness. Kaoru was breathing heavily and crying softly, but she manage to say, "Please Kenshin...please don't become a man slayer again. Please...don't use swordsmanship...to kill" She then collapsed forward, out of the small shrine where she was placed after Jinei bound her hands and feet. Kenshin hurried over to her and caught her.
"Miss Kaoru! Don't worry. You'll be all right that you will!" He said in his peaceful, kind tone.
Kaoru felt a veil of relief come over her and she smiled, "I'll be all right that I will." She repeated Kenshin's words, "I am fine that I am" She then said, overcome with joy. She knew she would never lose the Kenshin she loved. Never will the light in Kenshin go out; he will always be there.
Always.

Gemakai- Eh? What you think? This is my first story in a long while that it is. It is also my first RK story.
Kora- There may be reviewers that will say 'it's not with the damn story!!!'
Gemakai- Well, might as well take care of that now. I'm sorry, if this isn't completely like the series that I am. I've only watched up to episode 8 that I have.
