The Frozen Flame's Sin

I stared into the shards of light Enchanted by the glow. I hear my commerads voices shout As I sense my conscious flow.

The Frozen Flame has shifted sides From evil unto good. It has killed my soul And aided whom it should.

But one problem comes with that. My soul has left its shell, And taken on the enemy's, Though my friends can't seem to tell.

It thinks it's helping the force of good, But the Frozen flame, is not. Instead, it has followed Lynx As the demi human had originally sought.

Kid steps forward to touch "my" shoulder, To see if "I'm" all right. I watch my body nod and smile With eyes as black as night.

Can't she see that isn't me? I'm standing over here! And as she approaches this body My heart races with fear.

My friends betray me, Attacking me in turn. The wounds they place upon this body Begin to hurt and burn.

I collapse to the ground In agony. And "I" smile slyly. Can't she see that is not me!

Lynx offers her To take the final blow. But the girl hesitates. As for why, she does not know.

"I" take her shimmering dagger And saunter closer still. And it is then I realize That this man is truly out to kill.

Kid protests against my death. She has a strange feeling. Lynx stops and smiles at me. He knows of what he is dealing.

He takes a step towards the girl, Towrds the pitiful begger. She is then bitten by the steal Of her own trusted dagger.

I cry out in astonishment As Kid falls to her knees. And to add to my pain, No one can understand my inhumane pleas.

He picks the girl up and turns to me. His face is warped and wicked. "Kid knows the secret of the Flame," He tells me looking sickened.

He opens up a tear in time. And carefully throws me in. I realize that what has happened Was the Frozen Flame's first sin.
