A/N - PHEW! Just needed to write another quickie, to save me from all my stoopid chaptered fics! This is really x 1790238 OOC, sorry...Never mind! I wrote this in about 10 mins, who cares. Daisuke's POV.
It was there when I woke up. I presume you came in through the window, as the curtain was flapping in and out of it in the morning breeze. You must have been so quiet; I'm a light sleeper. But there it was on my pillow. And inside the tiny box was a tiny chocolate heart. At the time I did not know who it was from, but it was certainly a nice start to my day. I found myself watching people at school for any tell-tale signs, giggling and whatnot, but I found none in my direction except your stare. It seemed somehow warmer today. You watched me as always, only this time behind your own fortress of boxes and red envelopes and carefully tied sweet bags and bouquets of roses.

After school you asked me to wait for you. I watched you curiously as you gave back every box, card, sweet and flower, each attached with a small note, each girl's face falling as they read it. One girl noticed me spying from the corner and shook my hand, though I could see there were tears in her eyes. You walked me home. My house for you, is dangerous territory. My mother has warned me many times not to befriend you. I don't think you hate me. I don't even think you hate Dark. You're just...the way you are. As we walked you gently laced your fingers in between mine. You didn't say anything, so neither did I, but as I looked uncomfortably at my feet, I could feel your eyes again, watching me unashamedly.

And as we arrived at my house, you unlocked our fingers and they felt cold again. Not really thinking, I invited you in. I took you up to my room, never escaping your relentless stare. You regarded my room with subtle incredulity, though it would not have been apparent but for the slight widening of your eyes. I found myself now watching you, intensely.

"Ah,"

You nodded vaguely in the direction of the box.

"You got it then."

The next day, I reluctantly returned the box to you. I chewed my bottom lip nervously as you asked me if I'd not wanted it. I shook my head and told you to look inside. By this time, we'd both realised we were being watched by the majority of the females in our class, but neither of us showed we'd noticed. Your eyebrows raised slightly as you opened the now empty box. By this time, I had sat down, my back to you. I felt once more your stare on me, detecting a definite change, an open fondness obvious. And although you couldn't see it, I knew you felt my smile beaming at your reflection in the window.

That day, I didn't watch my feet glide across the floor as you entwined our fingers together. And I knew who the box I found on my pillow the next morning was from. Though...

I might have blushed a bit when you kissed me...
