"Now listen up you sorry pieces of crap! I have been told that I have to take you to at least one competition, but I see more. I see myself entering you all into every competition that I can find so hopefully next year, none of you pukes will want to be in Marching Band!" shouted Ms. Burton to all of us as she stormed out of the room.
"What the hell is she trying to do to us?!" exclaimed Jen.
"She's trying to kill us all and make it look like an accident," I explained.
"What if we showed her that we can handle Marching Band Hell and keep up our grades," suggested Greg.
"But when will we have time to do our homework?" asked Shelby.
"On the way to and from competitions and before practices and games," explained Greg.
"You know what, that might just work!" agreed Jeff.
"So, are y'all in or out?" asked Greg.
"Hell yeah!" shouted Alex.
So we huddled up and worked out our plan more until Ms. Burton walked back in.
"Here is your music. I expect the first piece to be memorized by tomorrow's practice," said Ms. Burton as she looked at all of us before she locked herself up in her office.
I handed the clarinets their music and told them all about the plan and they agreed to it.
Before practice the next day, I found my friends and we all started talking.
"So, how long did it take you to memorize your music?" asked Jen.
"Only 3 hours," I replied with a smile on my face.
"I hate you! It took me all night to memorize it!" shouted Alex.
Unfortunately, our talk was cut short due to Ms. Demon From Hell walking in.
"I need to see all the section leaders in my office, NOW!"
So Greg, Alex, Jeff, Shelby, Jackson, Mary, Matthew, and myself all walked in her office and gathered around her desk.
"After practice," she started, "I need you all to tell me who either hasn't learned their music, or is having trouble with the drill and send them to me."
We all kind of rolled our eyes and walked down to the practice field.
When I got home after practice, I found that my mom was home. She looked pretty mad.
"What is this all about?" she asked, handing me a sheet of paper that was in her hand.
As I looked at it, I realized that she had found our plan to get rid of Ms. Burton.
"Mom, the reason we came up with this is because she's going to Marching Band us to DEATH!" I shouted.
