In an attempt to comfort his little girl, Jason said, "Come here."

Kelly sat down on the couch beside Jason. Jason took one of the pillows beside him. "Lay down."

Kelly put her head down on the pillow. "Close your eyes." he said.

Kelly obeyed. Jason continued. "Now, think about a place where you were happy."

After a few seconds, Kelly even looked less upset. After a year, she was actually smiling. "It's working."

"Now, just keep on thinking about it. You'll feel better in no time."

"Okay. Thanks, dad."

"You're welcome. Now I have to go talk to Sonny a second, okay?"

Still smiling, she replied, "Tell him I said hi." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Ten minutes later, Jason came back to find Kelly exactly where he had left her. Realizing she was asleep, Jason took her upstairs to bed. A second before cutting her light off, Jason looked at his daughter. "I love you, baby." He cut off the light and went downstairs, thinking back to all his good fortune. Despite all the pain anyone put him through, Kelly Elizabeth Morgan made it bearable.
