The Love That Became Love
It was another boring day at P.S. 118 everyone was doing what they all ways did Sid, Stinky, and Harold bullying the 3rd graders and Helga, Phoebe, Rhonda, and Nadine are always thinking of a way to get back at Lila. But today in Mr. Simmons class there is a new student named Jane Takahashi, she is an exchange student from Japan and today is her first day in the school. So Mr. Simmons asked Arnold to help her around and he said, "Okay I will help her around". Jane was really shy and didn't know what to say so she followed him around while he showed her the rooms and stuff. Then Arnold found a flyer on the wall and it was for the school dance that was coming next Friday.
Arnold was thinking of asking Ruth to the dance but then he thought of Jane so he asked her " would you like the go the dance with me?" and Jane said, "Okay What time?" Arnold said, " How about 7:00p.m?" Jane said, "Okay hear is my adress." So Jane gave Arnold her adress and both went to class. In the shadow Brainy hear their conversation and he though of asking Helga to the dance. So he went to Helga and asked her "Do you want to go the dance next Friday?" and Helga said "What are you talking about I was hoping football head would ask me!" Brainy said, "He found a date already." She said, "Oh okay Brain I will go with you but not as a date but to the party okay got that?" Brainy said, "Okay." So Helga got a date at the dance to see whom football head was going with and she wanted to tell Arnold that he loves him in her bottom of her heart.
Phoebe found a date to the dance and it was Gerald. Rhonda was going with a rich guy like always the best for her and the best close for the dance and Harold was going with Patty and Sid was going with Nadine and Stinky was going with Lila every one at P.S. 118 had a date at the dance. The days went by slow the classes was boring as usual Mr. Simmons giving poetry home work and everyone did the work. Mr. Simmons said to the class, " So is every one exited about the dance?' the whole class said all together, "Yes we are exited to go the school dance. Then the day had arrived. The day of the dance every one was exited and they couldn't wait till they picked up their dates and have a blast at the dance.
School went by really fast and the teachers in every classroom and every grad gave no homework. Arnold and Gerald at the lockers and taking about their dates Hey Arnold Gerald called out Arnold said, "What is it Gerald?" Gerald said, " Who did you ask to the dance?" Arnold said, " You know the new exchange student?' Gerald said, "Ya tell me guess you asked her out right?" Arnold said, "Yes I did and who did you ask Gerald?" He said, "I asked Phoebe out to the dance." They both wanted to go together with their date to the dance to Arnold asked he's grandpa if they could rent a limo and Phil said, "Well I guess we could."
