The End of the Line

By Melinda Cadarette

I know this is not a video game

Koji did not have to tell that to me

But I thought since we were the good guys

We had to win against him- Duskmon

But then Koji got hurt because of me

He got hurt protecting me from Duskmon

I felt bad seeing Koji in great pain

Maybe he was right- I should go back home

Everything I planned had failed

I let the entire team down

I wish I never went here

And then it happened to me

I found myself at the Dark Terminal

The Trailmon offered me a ride back home

It was the end of the line for me

So I accepted and went onboard it

Then two strange things happened to me

I turned into a Digimon

And I went back to the same day

That I left for my adventures

I thought I had to stop myself

I was too scared to face my fears

I did not want to hurt my friends like before

So I went and tried to stop my other self

But what was I trying to do?

I was chosen for a reason

Koji is right- this is not some game

I cannot run away from my fears

It is not the end of the line for me

I allowed my other self to go onboard

I shall not run away from my fears no more

I am going to return and face Duskmon

I won't mess up this time Koji

This is a new Takuya here

I am now ready to face my fears

And it is all due to you Koji

I am going back to my friends

So I am onboard the Trailmon

This is not the end of the line

And we shall emerge the winners!

My first Season Four poem! I am so proud! I hope you like it! This may seem Takouji-ish but that was not my intentions. Digimon Season Four was made by Akiyoshi Hongo and owned by Disney and Bandai. Please be sure to check my other works if you have not done so. I also do poem requests. You can e-mail me at Melicadar@hotmail.com or at Melicadar@yahoo.com  And do not forget to review!
