Benjamin Borgin and the Magical Muggle

Benjamin Borgin never found it worthwhile to steal from muggles. It was a matter of fact that they had nothing worth stealing. Most of everything a muggle had was either widely available in the wizarding world or so utterly backward no one would want any of it, except as a curiosity. Muggles had gold, silver, jewels and other mutually valuable substances, but Borgin was after something very rare indeed in the Muggle World - Magic.

To his amazement, Muggles came across magic a good deal more than they could appreciate. Fortunately, the greater majority of them refused to admit that anything could be magical and quickly concocted other explanations. Unfortunately, a small minority believed in magic, even if they couldn't prove it, and spent their time trying to provide evidence of it's existence. Some were convinced that they could work magic themselves, and if they did not wind up looking silly, they usually wound up dead or with a nasty memory charm.

This is a Harry Potter Expanded Fiction Story and is our project is open for other writers.
Harry Potter Expanded Fiction

Expanded fiction is fan fiction written to expand the world already described by the original work rather than just playing with favorite, well known characters.

The world is expanded by writing about people, places, and events present in the books that are not main characters (Please note that the Harry Potter books have only 3 main characters). The world is expanded further by writing about characters in other expanded fics or by starting with completely new characters.

J.K. Rowling has given us many places to start with, here's a few :

Godric Griffindor and the Hogwarts Four
Albus Dumbledoor and the Twelve Uses of Dragons Blood
Mad Eye Moody and the Aurors of Azkaban
Bill Weasly and the Pharoh of Egypt
etc. etc. etc.
