After his "saving people thing" has led to the death of both Sirius and Hermione, Harry doesn't feel much of a hero at all. Nevertheless, he has to fulfil his role in the upcoming war, while also trying to honour the memory of his best friend. "In Her Memory" is an AU rewrite of books 6 and 7, starting with the death of Hermione during the battle at the Department of Mysteries.

With Dumbledore gone, Grindelwald's remaining followers are finally able to carry out their plans for "the greater good" and install a Nazi-Germany-like regime. First-year students at Hogwarts summon Familiars. While most are harmless, some are things a teen shouldn't be in charge of. Carnivorous flower spirits, armored murder-owls and walking incarnations of fury roam the halls of Hogwarts. This is just as bad of an idea as it sounds. Probably even worse. Our "heroes" might just save the world, assuming they don't destroy it first.
