"God it's cold out here.." Seto Kiba snorted to his driver as he climbed into the back of the limo. He was coming home late that night because of a boring meeting that had taken place between him and his department heads. Joy, if there was something that he hated more then chipper people, it was paper work. and oh god did his job drown him in paper work.
The street was quiet that night, and the brunette was watching out the window sullenly. He was tired, but that more, hazy tired that wouldn't let you fall asleep, but it ment you weren't the most awake either. Suddenly, his sharp eyes caught the gleaming of the limo headlights off of something metallic. Kaiba rapped sharply on the window separating him from his driver and ordered the man to stop. He slid out, pulling his warm jacket close and carefully walked over to where he remembered the glint being. It was dark, so we can forgive the boy for almost tripping over the body when he was walking over.
Kaiba knelt down by poor Joey, his ungloved hand brushing gently across cool skin, seeking a response. Seto would have never admitted it, but he was relieved to feel a faint pulse beating underneath the unnaturally white marbled skin. "What on earth is the puppy doing here." He grumbled softly. He stood and motioned to his driver, "Pick him up and put him in the car, we're taking him home for Fitz to have a look at him." Seto said, watching his servant do his bidding. He sighed inwardly, looking over Joey's bike. "What the hell happened.." He thought to himself, "It looks like it was run over by a bull dozer, then dragged by a heard of wild Mongolian horses." Then he shrugged and climbed back into the limo.
