To Be The Best

A poem told by Hotspur in King Henry the fourth part 1. Written when he recieves the letter from his father saying he can't come to the conspirocy. My fist take on a Shakespeare book. R/R

A letter from my father,

One might call it a bother,

But I do not, because for our cause,

We must gain the applause.

Before the sun sets,

We will represent,

A conspirator's wish,

To be the very best.

See without my father,

It won't be a bother,

We can only be the best,

Which is far better than the rest,

Because in the end the king will fall,

And that will be the end of all.
