I smile sadly out at Sora- My one, my only. "Take care of her for me." ::Be happy with her for me, Sora.:: He nods, his eyes determined, and I resist the urge to leap out or to pull him in with me. I pull on the door, and it clangs shut.
I almost scream out to Sora- Open the door! I don't want to be in here!
The darkness is total- save for the glowing eyes of the heartless. They gaze at me- and maybe king Mickey?- and slowly, all but one pair blink out. These rise, up to look straight at me.
"So. It comes to this, does it?" The wispy voice chuckles. "Light restored by a oversized key and a pair of boys, one innocent and infatuated, the other corrupt and in love with the first." The eyes move, as if the head the perch on is being shaken. "We heartless respect you both. But now, it's time for us to go. In a few years, we won't matter anyway- not in the grand scheme."
"What-" my voice is a hoarse croak. I cough. "What do you mean?"
The heartless chuckles again.
"Soon- very soon- there's going to be something. Something big, that not even us heartless can handle." The eyes seem to glance around. "Even we are scared of the deepest darkness." The voice grows even quieter, and totally serious. "Good luck, Riku. You'll need it when the big one comes." The eyes wink out, leaving me in complete darkness. I shudder.
"Mickey? Are you there?" Is that my voice? Weak, quavering slightly?
"Yeah. Was that... A heartless warning us?" His voice doesn't sound much different from mine, except higher.
"I think so."
A very, very long time of silence.
"Mickey, I'm scared. Really scared." I hear him walk up next to me.
"I don't blame you. So am I."

So... Strange. I don't know whether or not I'll continue. You guys out there can decide, I guess. Review please? (Looks at you for a moment, then stares at the strange thing she just wrote) If you guys want, I could fit this into a plot of some kind. It's plenty open ended. Or you guys could finish it? I don't know.
