Ten thousand years is a long time to take a nap. Amelia, a fourteen-year-old human girl, has lived in Inkopolis for four years since she left her cryopod. Her parents are long gone, and all she has are her caretaker and her new friends to help her rise to the top as a turfer and find him.

An Octoling girl, who's been hurt more than once, loses everything to someone she thought she loved and begins to grow cold. Unintentionally teaming up with an organization called 'The L.O.S.T', she's paired up with a gentle-hearted Octoling boy, who’s had a soft spot for her since the day they first met — when she had spared his life. Yet, why? Can the boy soothe her heart again?

After saving Inkopolis from disaster, Callie and Marie have been imprisoned and forever changed. Despite all they've sacrificed, the inklings and Octarians stand on the razor's edge of either prosperity or ruin. Which way they fall will depend on Callie, Marie, and their allies.
