Prologue: the trapped Raptor

Slowly, I opened my eyes. I was not where I used to be. Where was the lab? Where was my trusted cage in which I grew up, my plate with meat, my drinking cube? I was even at an all other island. The air smelled different. It was cold. The last thing I remembered was that human pointing the iron staff at me and the needle shot at me. Growl. He was going to get some serious whipping. If I ever lay my claws at him---
Hold it. Something's moving me. A--- mechanical thing. I smell humans. I'm captured in a box. A strong box. Strong enough to contain me. What are they going to do with me? O, they're putting me down. On the ground. Good. I can't fly. Now, I'm surrounded by humans. I'm hungry. The last time I ate was at least a day ago. Or more. Where was my trusted plate with meat? Not here.
"Stay back men, it's a Velociraptor."
A men's voice. Rasped. Old. But not that old. Maybe wise. Growl. Hunger. My stomach is empty. Where's my plate with meat? Hold it. There's someone on my box. I see him through the little holes in the of my box. What's he doing? Is he going to feed me? O, please, feed me! Under you! Here! The Raptor. I'm hungry! I want meat!
He! What's he doing? Opening my box. I slowly peeked through the gap. I saw jungle. A familiar jungle. It looked like I was destined to live there. Then I shocked. I saw a few murderous eyes looking at my. Sniff. Other Raptors. Unfamiliar. They also smelled hungry. If I entered that jungle they where going to eat me.
No way! I tried to escape the other way and crashed in the back of the box. It moved backwards and the men on top fell off, his legs before the box, creating a gap between the fence of the jungle and the box. The Alpha- Female jumped out of the jungle and charged the human. She grabbed the man with his mouth and pulled. Obviously something was pulling on the other side as well. The man screamed. I heard the voice again: "Shoot her."
The iron staffs where put through the holes. That would mean the needles again. I ran away, out of the box and jumped over the Alpha-Female. She had finally managed to grab the corpse of the man and we dashed of, together in the forest. The fence closed behind us.
She slowly started to eat. I had followed her. Stupid. I knew there where other Raptors staring. Running away wouldn't do any good. She glanced at me, and gave me a piece of the corpse. I was accepted in the pack.
