1 You and Deep Blue Velvet

I dreamed last night

Of you and deep blue velvet

Of silver eyes and silver hair

Bewitched by moonlight

Hidden under deep blue velvet.

I dreamed last night

Of lips claiming mine

Of heated skin and passionate embrace

Of whispered words

Of Forbidden thoughts.

I dreamed it was real

Our love for each other

But in the light of day we

Lie as enemies

And I think of sleep and hope to dream

Of You and Deep Blue Velvet.
