Author's note: It's a very short vignette of Sydney and Vaughn. Thank you

Worth It
The sound of a key turning in the lock echoed as the door swung open. A moment later a young women walked in, dropping her keys and bag on the small table next to the door as she entered. Closing the door behind her, she let out a sigh of relief and looked around the dimly lit apartment. She was home. Days like these made her wonder why she ever went into the business she was in, why she didn't turn and run when that man approached her that day on campus. After all, there was enough uncertainty in her life without adding to it. She wondered if she would have made the same decision if she had to make it over again. The arms that encompassed her from behind as she entered her kitchen at that moment answered her silent question. She smiled as she leaned back into him, remembering why it was all worth it.
-How was your day?
-Fine, she smiles.
All the horrors and stress that she felt when walked through the door melted away. He always had this effect on her. She dips her neck as he starts to kiss his way down her neck. She slowly turned around, wrapping her own arms around his neck as she did so. They stayed like this for a few moments, silently looking into each other's eyes. Without a word, he took her hand and led her toward the bedroom, their eyes never breaking contact with one another. Feeling his hand make contact with her stomach as he lifted her shirt over her head, she fleetingly wondered when she would tell him the good news.
