Maura yawned, taking her hair down. She took off her coat, revealing one of her nicer dresses - one Jane had never seen her wear. If Maura was seeing someone, would she wear that dress? It was in the 'awards' section of Maura's closet. Had she won another award and she was too humble to tell them? Jane's eyes narrowed. If it had been a date, Jane needed to have a background check.

Maura didn't like to ask for anything. She was always aware that her interpersonal relationships were built on borrowed time, that they could always disappear in a moment. In the morgue it was different, but outside her domain, even in the field, it was so much harder to ask. She never needed to ask Jane for anything; she always provided whatever Maura needed.

Jane and Maura both know what they want but are too afraid to tell each other. Will Valentine's Day be the catalyst they need to confess? *Might be a tad cheesy but hopefully still enjoyable.

Maura likes their height difference. Jane is tall, and Maura's face fits perfectly against her shoulder. She's a professional, so she wears heels to work, so she isn't distracted. But at home she kicks off her heels and looks up at Jane as she presses a kiss to Maura's temple, wrapping her arms around her. Maura feels small and safe in the confines of Jane's embrace.

Maura is the new ME at BPD. But she's not the Maura we've come to know (not entirely). Jane finds herself allowing things she would never allow anyone to do, even liking it ) Maura is cold and commanding as the new ME, ready to turn BPD upside down (but in a good way). I know this summary sucks lol

What would have happened if Jane and Maura got together after the season 1 finale? This is what I think happens. I will be rewriting key scenes in episodes to make them more Rizzles as well as adding some new very Rizzles heavy scenes. Pure fluff. A little hurt/comfort. Always a happy ending.

The death of a close friend causes the best friend to reevaluate her life and make a move to a new city where she doesn't know anyone. (FYI - I might consider making this a multi-chapter story in the future)

Maura woke up, her breath caught in her throat, a horrible wheezing noise. There was a sharp sting in her thigh, and Jane's mouth pressed against her own, breathing into Maura, the count familiar.

Set after season 7. It's been too long, there is too much between them and it's too late. A month of sweetness doesn't make up for years of neglect.

Losing Frost had been so, so hard. It felt like being shot in the chest, and Jane was used to that. But if Maura... Jane touched her chest, stopped on the way to the elevator, ducked into a closet, closing the door behind her with shaking hands. S05E01 interlude

Inspired by the song. Based on the killer in high heels episode. Maura comes over to Jane's apartment late at night after she almost went to prison for a crime she did not commit. Eventual Rizzles. Smut-filled scenes to follow (like the title says lol). I heard the song a while ago so I gotta get this out. It won't be a long story but not a shot either. Enjoy!

Maura stays over at Jane's sometimes. Sometimes it's on purpose. Sometimes it's not.

Maura knew Jane didn't particularly like art exhibits, only went for Maura's sake. It was a little infuriating, though, the way Jane never gave the art more than a glance, eyes always fixed on Maura instead.

"I want you to have my baby," Jane said, heedless of how it sounded. Jane faces the reality of her dangerous job and looks for someone responsible to take care of her child if something were to happen to her. One shot.

Jane and Maura share facts about 9/11/2001 with their children on the 21st anniversary of that tragic day.
