Clue
Prologue
Candlelight flickered in the dim library where John Boddy was reading his newspaper. Suddenly, he heard a faint shuffling noise coming from behind a bookshelf. His legs trembled as he made his way along the cold, stone floor toward the towering wooden bookcase. His brown, scuffed shoes marked the tiled floor as he crept ever slower toward the books. His palms grew sweaty as he neared a corner tucked in shadow. The closer he came, the noise grew louder. Unknown to Mr Boddy, a mysterious figure picked up an object off a nearby table. Boddy's heart pounded when he heard a shuffle from behind him. He turned around, his back facing the dark corner, and never knew what hit him.

Boddy's heart pounded when he heard a shuffle from behind him. He turned around, his back facing the dark corner, and never knew what hit him.
