There is a little girl I know

She lives in side of me

But right now she feels so low

She really needs to see

There's more than just one path to follow

But there's only one life to live

Then she might not seem so hollow

She needs to give

Stop pretending

Just let go

And stop wandering

Stop saying no

And standing up to others

Just be herself

And pull off those covers

She needs a friend

That's why her heart bleeds

Longing for a friend

Someone to open up to

Someone to share her life with, her secrets

But still she doesn't know who

She has a lot of regrets

Of not doing anything

But then she meets this girl

And she feels something

She sees the little girl inside of her

She knows, she trusts this other girl

And there's no other

She's found someone she trusts and who trusts her back

They're best friends now

She still doesn't know how

One minute she felt so alone

Now she has no need to moan

Now the little girl is free!
