Prologue

Come rest and from all of the world,

I gaze upon your silken lips,
Your eyes of liquid chocolate.
Your warmth and mine,
Our limbs to twine.
As you return to me,
My heart to wither,
Upon the dawn to find love dead.
As it had always been,
But false and lies.
To me, these were revealed
As you walked away from me.

That dream...my tears had long since dried for you, Ken. You left me here alone, without your touch and without your love. But I suppose I never had your love at all, did I? Only your love of my beauty. Your fiery passion was born only for lust and not for me. Why can't you love me?
As I woke, I realized that I have not truly let you go. I could not let go and I never will. To the grave I will take my love for you.
