Tingles By PiperHWyatt@aol.com

The tingles started in my toes, and spread up my body, getting stronger by the second. I squeezed my eyes shut to prevent the brilliant light from blinding me. The world started to fade away as I floated up, losing all contact with everything solid around me. The tingles disappeared, just as the sensation of my body being shattered into billions upon billions of miniature fragments took over.

The light was still extremely intense, but I no longer had the ability to keep my eyes closed. It was as if my entire being was now exposed to the light, and I had no way of stopping it. But after a nanosecond of the exposure, the light warmed my shattered pieces, and the sensation became extremely pleasant.

As quickly as it all had started to happen, the reverse began. The tingling started to return as the pieces found their way back together, gluing themselves to each other. The tingles that made my body feel like it was vibrating slowed and disappeared, leaving through my fingers and toes, the same way they had come.

The light turned from a brilliant white to a pale blue glow, and then it too slowly faded. I opened my eyes, and I felt the ground under my feet once again.
