The duel was over..Malik had won, Yami had given up. Malik now stood over
the crouching Yami. "give me your puzzle" he whispered to Yami. Yami
thought for a few minutes then reached for it and he heard a voice in his
head. Yugi. ' don't give it to him, he'll kill you either way' Yugi
screamed at the former pharaoh.
Yami stood up and stared at Malik. Malik stared with a frown upon his face
"hand it over!" he immediately screamed at Yami. Yami hung his head then
punched Malik and ran. Malik laughed and sent Rishid on his motorcycle to
retrieve him.
Once Rishid had caught Yami he brought him to Malik. Malik was holding the Millennium Rod along with all the other items. Yami was half awake and half.dead. Malik stood up to his arch enemy. " tomb raiders are so pathetic" he snarled at Malik, Malik in return stabbed him with the Rod..right in the heart. Yugi quickly reacted and spoke to Yami through mind link before Yami left the world and his soul ripped from his body. 'Yami are you ok?!?!' " I'm leaving you Yugi" were his last words. ' aishiteru Yami'..Yugi took over his own body and stood up. Malik took the boy and signaled Rishid to shoot him, this did not worry Yugi. He would live, and he did. Malik took the puzzle and left Yugi at the bay. It was over, Malik had won the world and now his friends would suffer just like Jounouchi did that one night.
FLASHBACK.. Yugi looked at Jounouchi with concern, for Jounouchi was holding his head and screaming. Then it happened, Jounouchi was being controlled by Malik. " Goodbye Yugi" were Joey's last words. END OF FLASHBACK
Yugi knew he wasn't alone, he had Anzu and Honda with him but he never knew if Kaiba actually respected him the way he wanted him too. Kaiba had always rejected Yugi and made fun of him, and now he needed Kaiba more than ever.
KAIBA'S POV I left the mansion early to see Mokuba off to school, then I decided to take a walk. I saw Yugi Motou there. He was in his regular happy-go-lucky mood. He approached me and said " hi " and I replied with a " I have to go" he said "ok" then we both went our ways, but I kind of respect him, he's only a weak teenager. Maybe I should be easier on him..
