I was in the MedLab with Rosie, who was giving me an eerie smile.

I muttered something under my breath, and Rosie's smile changed to a look of shock until we were both laughing.

"I don't think you have a concussion," she told me. I rubbed the back of my head just at the mention of the word. Did she have to remind me?

"Wonderful."

Rosie smiled again. "You didn't think it would actually work, did you?"

I looked down sadly. "He didn't catch me."

Rosie held a hand up to her mouth to stop from laughing, but I couldn't really help it. "It's okay," I told her.

Rosie laughed. "I can't believe you thought he'd catch you!"

"What was so wrong with it?" I demanded.

"One, he was busy, and two..."

I stopped Rosie right there. "Okay, I get it! Just, leave!"

Rosie complied, laughing the whole way. Okay, so it wasn't the smartest thing I've ever thought of, but...

Okay, it was a long shot! I had to try!

Just then, Commander Goddard came in. "How's your head?" he asked.

"Sore," I grumbled. "You didn't catch me."

Now Commander Goddard was laughing. "I can predict the future now?"

I fought a smile and said, "Space hates sarcasm."

He broke up in fits of laughter. I'm glad he thinks this is so funny...

"I'm not laughing at you, really," Commander Goddard told me. "I knew there was always something special about you."

I smiled as Commander Goddard came closer. We were going to share our first kiss! And then...

"CATALINA!" Suzee screamed, as if she could hear my thoughts.

Actually, she probably could. I woke up, and stared at her disbelievingly. "What? You actually hit on Harlan!"

Suzee considered this for a moment, and then said, "Do you really like him?"

"Of course I like Harlan! How evil would I be if I didn't and got mad at you for---"

"Not him!" Suzee interrupted.

I just smiled, not telling. I don't have to tell Suzee everything!

Another Author's Notes: I tried so hard to make this a Davenport dream, but the moment swept me away! I'll get to that dream soon enough, but we all know that EVERYONE LOVES GODDARD! Even though I noticed he seemed to be a heckuvahlot more blonde as a 12 year old...but his eyes were still pretty! Hey, I got through a whole story without calling Seth a soulmate! But that's because Catalina's soulmate was Harlan, but she does love Goddard, because EVERYONE LOVES GODDARD!
