An alarm clock went off in a single bed hotel room. Duo jumped out of bed and switched it off. This was the first and more than likely only time the boy would wake up this early willingly, but today was special.
He gently shook the boy next to him. "Heero wake up." Two cobalt blue eyes opened blinking. "The sun is rising, come watch."
Silently Heero raised up and slipped on a pair of shorts. Duo grabbed his hand and led him outside into the grass, beyond the parking lot. "Look it is beautiful."
The sky was slowly growing lighter, pale blue and crimson streaked across the sky. Heero's eyes were wide and his breath quickened as he watched the sun rising for the first time. Heero blinked quickly, sighed, then turned back toward the hotel.
"Where are you going? You haven't seen the best part!" Duo walked after him. "Heero, come back." He stopped and watched the dark boy close the door to the hotel room. Duo sighed, "Next lesson, breakfast."
This is the beginning to a part 2 of Eyes, a GW vampire fic I wrote a while ago. I thought I would write the very beginning to the 2nd part and continue if I got enough reviews. What do you think?
