I was playing Wind Waker a couple days ago when I started talking to myself, pretending Link and The Red Lion King were talking to each other.
Then I stopped and thought "Hey, this would be a good story." So I wrote it the next day.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything in this fanfiction. Not the words, not the characters... But, I semi-own the order of the words. Because I put the words in the order they're in. ^^

Link was lying on an island's beach one night. He and the Red Lion King had decided that it would be a good night to actually sleep.
"Hey, King?" Link called out. "...What?" Said the Red Lion King, a bit sleepily.
"Have you ever thought about the sky?"
"No, Link, I have not." Replied the Red Lion King, with his eyes still closed.
"Well, I have... It's kinda pretty, isn't it?"
"Yes, pretty. Go to sleep."
"And then there's the moon... it's neat too. Hey, I heard there were other planets from this guy once, he said they had more than one moon. Why don't we have two moons? Or three?"
"I don't know, Link. Sleep."
"But then again, there are all the stars... Hey! I think I found some stars that look like an oval! What's it called when they're shapes again?" Link had sat up, and was looking contentedly at the stars. A small pause in the conversation ensued. "...King?"
"Eh? What?" King said, looking around as if he were just snapped out of sleep. (Which he had been.)
"What's it called when the stars are in a shape? Like that oval over there?"
"A constellation."
"Oh." Link stopped, and looked at the stars. "Hey, there's one that's kind of reddish purple! Are there any stars you see, King?"
"Link. Go. To. Sleep."
"I'm not tired, though!"
"Then please do not disturb me, because although you are not tired, I am."
"Well... okay." Link stood up, and looked around the island they had landed on. "Hey, neat, a crab!" Link went over to the crab, and picked it up just before it burrowed underground. "Mr. Crab....did you ever think about the sky?"
The next morning...
"Link. It's time to wake up." The Red Lion King said to Link.
"Mm...no gramma... just 10 more minutes..."
"Link, your grandmother isn't here right now. She's on Outset Island. We have to go save your sister, remember?"
"Nnn..."
The Red Lion King stared at the sleeping Link. "...This is going to be another long day..."
