It had been a perfect day for Momiji. Just her and Kusanagi, and nobody else in the way. Shopping, a picnic...just spending time together was wonderful.
As they watched the sunset, he spoke to her softly. "Momiji...I feel incredibly attracted to you...There's something I want to do with you right now."
Momiji smiled, thrilled. "Yes?"
"I want to rub my stamen against your carpel."
"Oh, you naughty...what?"
"Your carpel. So I can give you my pollen. My anther has been covered with it all day long. I need to get some on your stigma."
"Uh..." Momiji was totally confused.
"I wouldn't normally be so blunt, Momiji, but being around you lately has made pollinate like crazy." He put his arms around her. "So let's share pollen, okay?"
Momiji chuckled uncomfortably. "I think we need to clear something up first."
One quick trip to the library later...
Kusanagi looked at page 48 of "Human Reproduction", then at Momiji. "You wanted to do THAT with me? That's disgusting!"
Momiji forced a smile. "Well, now that that's cleared up, let's go to the gardening store. They've got a lovely set of pruning shears that I'd like to try out..."
