Chapter 1: Memories

Omri sighed heavily as he got out of bed for school. It had been a year since he let Little Bear and the rest of the little people go. Omri still remembered it perfectly, and he was still extremely depressed. He wished he could bring them back, just for a moment. He groaned and pulled his clothes on. He didn't know, but Adeil and Gillon were in Gillon's room talking about Omri's behaviour lately. "I don't get it, Gilly, what's up with Omri? We haven't done anything," said Adeil. "And what about this Indian business? It's weird how he seems to get into it." "I don't know," said Gillon, considering about all this and what he remembered in that crazy dream he had, about being a girl puppet in India with Omri. What could this mean? Gillon sighed and got dressed. "Adeil, you need to hurry up, it's almost seven!" he yelled, finding something to change the subject. "Oh man, thanks for telling me now! I'm going to be late!" exclaimed Adeil as he grabbed his backpack and ran down the stairs and out the door.
