A Saiya-jin's Love
By, Chibi (aka Ashley)
The cold night air nips at my hands,
my hair flies back against the wind.
I know she loved me once before,
But can she love me again?
The city is so far below,
and space so far above.
I don't belong on Earth with you,
or in the stars with love.
The first time I saw your smiling face,
or touched your soft blue hair.
When I first called out your name,
to show I really cared.
I see our son, smiling bright,
his hair so neat and trim.
And when I sometimes think of him,
I know that we can win.
Our love was deeper then the sea,
yet smaller then a mouse.
And now, come to think of it,
I only lived at your house.
The gravity room was where I spent,
every day and night.
Instead of spending my time with you.
Now I just can't stay.
Your said you loved me once before,
and I said the same to you.
I never knew what real love was,
until I finally found you.
You were scared of me at first,
until we all got back.
Then outside your home you called me 'homeboy',
and that was that.
The cold of night and pale moonlight,
is all I have to guide me.
Back to your home, your place of rest,
that is where you'll find me.
Through the trials of human life,
I will watch you go.
Growing always into the women,
that I now know.
I will love you forever and always,
my heart swells with pride.
But it's not my pride but yours,
that shines on from inside.
Your strength is great, just like me,
and so's your temper too.
But what I can not understand,
is why you love unlike I do.
Your love is sweet, caring, and gentle,
while mine is harsh and rough.
I know I was raised different then you,
but that should not hold up much.
I was evil, young, and corrupt,
you were nice and pure.
Your heart was good, mine was not,
we all knew it to be true.
But through it all,
I will still always love you.
For you are my only love,
shining and so true.
I'm at your window and your asleep.
I always come to late.
I look in on you and say,
"My love just can not wait."
I walk inside and look at you,
so radiant when your sleeping.
I kneel beside your bed at first,
and feel my torn heart leaping.
I move a hair from across your face,
then take you in my arms.
I kiss your head with gentle grace,
then release you with no harm.
I stand again and soon walk out,
back into the night.
I will always love you Bulma,
and make sure your alright.
