Trunks looked back and forth from King Vegeta to Pan, then back to Vegeta. "You.. omae.. HOW COULD YOU!?!" Trunks shouted at Pan, trying to free himself of King Vegeta's firm grip. "I told you, you shouldn't talk to a princess that way... I CAN kill you." Pan said with a feral grin. She abruptly stood up and started circling him as if he were her prey. Her intense glare was fixed on him. Even though Trunks was growling at Pan, King Vegeta still stared at him, doing nothing but holding him up. "I can't believe you." Trunks spat with hatred towards the disloyal princess and no one but the disloyal princess. Pan merely shrugged. Faster than the eye could see, Trunks was down on the ground, gasping for air. Coughing, he turned over to Pan, hand over stomach. "Let's see... some analogies.. the hunted is to the hunter as you are to me.. Purr-fect.." Pan said. Her pearl white canines suddenly grew. "Come on... let's fight. or are you too chicken?" Pan taunted. "No way." "No way as in you're not too chicken or no way as in you won't under any circumstances?" Pan asked. "Both.." Trunks said, turning around and powering up. King Vegeta was still in the same exact position he was in at the start. All of Trunks' attention was on the King. Before Trunks could do anything, he was again on the floor, his body racked with pain. 'Can't.. breathe... I-... ugh..' Trunks still felt like a billion knives were stabbing him all over his body. Blood flowed out. "Huh? But.. you're over there.." Trunks said weakly. His vision blurred, but he could still see Pan standing there. She hadn't moved at all! 'Then. why do I feel such pain?' Trunks thought. 'No time...' He tried getting up. "HA! Look at you, you weakling. you can't even get up. I'm not doing anything. yet, you're lying there on the floor looking like you just went through the toughest fight in your life. Well, that hasn't happened yet so get up and fight me you coward!" Pan said, amused by Trunks screaming out. 'I... can't... hurt.. her...' Trunks thought. Actually, the pain wasn't that great. He could fight her if he so wished.. 'But.... I just can't..' Trunks thought back to the kiss. 'So soft... Even if she betrayed me..... I.......... couldn't....' With that last idea, he fell into a world of darkness.

"You fool.. can't you figure it out!?! Che.. idiot... Well, at least everything is working out.." Pan said, kicking Trunks in the ribs. "But. you better figure it out soon. or you're done for," Pan muttered, looking up at the stars and touching her lips.

"Huh?" Trunks' eyes fluttered open. He looked everywhere and tried getting up. "WHAT THE HELL!?!" he shouted, looking at the chains that bound him to the filthy walls. "LET ME GO!!" Trunks shouted, pulling as hard as he could. However, it was a futile attempt. "Kuso! PAN!! WHERE ARE YOU!?! HELP ME!!" Trunks shouted. Then, he thought about what he was requesting. ".. NEVER MIND! Goddamnit. can't rely on that girl for anything." Trunks grumbled, getting out a pin. He had snatched it from Pan's desk earlier when he was in her room. "Just the thing to help me with this damned predicament." Trunks said as he hurriedly unlocked himself and got up. Right when he got to the dungeon entrance, Pan walked by. He glowered at her. Wordlessly, she came up to the door and opened it. Trunks cautiously got out, stepping around her. Once Pan came to a halt, she turned around and got into a fighting stance. "Fight me," she ordered. "No!" Trunks said. "Either fight me or you shall pay." Pan roared. "I WON'T FIGHT YOU!! EITHER WAY I'M GOING TO DIE!! AT LEAST NOT FIGHTING YOU WILL LET ME LIVE LONGER!!!!" Trunks yelled, running to the nearest exit. "Too bad.. I was hoping that you would just agree. Now." Pan started. In one second, she disappeared and reappeared with Marron. "Wha. what?" Marron wondered aloud. She was being choked right now. "HEY! THAT'S YOUR SISTER!!!" Trunks said, running back. "I don't care. This way... I get to kill two instead of one. Lucky me.." Pan smirked. "LET. HER. GO!!!" Trunks said, rushing at Pan with all his strength. "Hm... I say.. 'whatever'.." Pan yawned. Trunks roughly slashed at Pan with his sword. They landed on different sides, neither facing each other.
Turning her head, Pan smiled at Trunks. Once Trunks turned all the way around, his eyes widened with fear and alarm. "No.. I. I.. NO!!!!!!!!" Trunks screamed, running towards Marron whom he had slashed. Blood poured out like rain in a storm. Reluctantly, he touched her hand. 'Cold.... white... I-I killed her..' "I KILLED HER!!" Trunks shouted, shaking his head frantically. "Oh well. She deserved to die anyway." Pan said nonchalantly. Right then, he caught a glimpse of King Vegeta, standing in the doorway. 'He's.. pale.... ghostly pale. just like Marron..' Trunks thought. Pan kicked him hard into the stomach. He flew back and collided with the wall. 'Huh? I. didn't.. feel.. the collision.. at all!' Trunks thought, perplexed. Right as that thought crossed his mind, his body started feeling the stabbing of knives again. Pan floated into the air, eyes glowing white. Her hair started shimmering and she began chanting something. 'This.... whole thing is......' Trunks thought. "AN ILLUSION!!!" he shouted out right as Pan fired her spell at him. In a swirl of colors, Trunks woke up. "Huh? What? Whe-where am I?" Trunks asked. Looking around, he saw that he was in his bed, alone. Getting out of bed, he jumped up to Pan's balcony. 'She's sound asleep...' Trunks thought. 'Then.. All that happened..... was it a dream?' Looking up at the moon, Trunks inhaled the sweet scent of the midnight air. Just to be sure, he quietly sneaked into Marron's room. Finally, he was satisfied and went back to his room, content with the fact that the girls were all right.

Pan sighed, looking out her window. "Another test passed... the illusion started when he entered my room.. ha... like I'd ever cry and cling to him like some little baby.... but... the kiss. now THAT was unexpected. maybe I should cook for him more often." Pan reminisced, smirking. "Hmph. not that I enjoyed it. but still.." she muttered, jumping off her balcony and into the tree.
Just as Trunks got into bed, something fell out of his pocket. "Huh?" he said. The shiny piece glimmered in the moonlight. 'Pan's.... ocarina?' he thought. 'Then... it couldn't have been a dream! The kiss. the.. the illusion... it was all an illusion.. but.... the kiss couldn't have been an illusion... she left her ocarina AFTER I kissed her... which reminds me..' Trunks thought as he hit himself in the head. 'I deserve it.' Trunks thought sadly. Trunks got up and jumped into the tree, sitting on the other side. "I'm sorry about the kiss." Trunks said, knowing that Pan knew he was awake the minute he entered her room. Trunks handed her the ocarina. Pan snatched it away and started playing a sweet tune. "Leave me alone." Pan kept playing. Trunks sighed and leaned back. "You seem lonely all by yourself. You should at least try to make SOME friends." "Friends are a burden. There is no such thing as a true friend.. they'll turn on you... you know how they say true friends stab you in the back? That's not right. True friends stab you in the front. Same thing with love... I can't feel true love. You can't feel true love. There is no such thing as true love. When you think you've got the right person, you'll find them cheating on you or something. It's not worth my time," Pan said, pausing in the middle of her playing. "The only person you can rely on in this world is yourself. Solitude is golden," Pan continued. "Solitude is bad for you. You're just af- " "Afraid? Yeah right.. I can't be put down so I've got nothing to be afraid of.." Pan said. "We're going nowhere. so, just stop!" Trunks said, moving over to Pan's branch. "What?" Pan snapped at him. He just continued staring at Pan with that intimidating look. "Stop staring at me like that," Pan said, getting back to her playing. Nevertheless, Trunks kept staring. and staring. and staring.. "WHAT!?!" Pan shouted. "You know." "Yeah?" "..... You're not as cold as you appear to be." Trunks said, hopping down from the tree and walking back inside. Pan looked down. She narrowed her eyes to slits. "Let's see if you can handle this one..." Pan whispered, returning to her ocarina.

"Trunks... Trunks? TRUNKS!" Marron shouted. "HUH!?! WHA!?! BREAKFAST!?!" Trunks yelled, sitting up instantly. "I'm sorry to wake you up like this, but father told me to-" "Good morning!" Pan said joyously. Marron was speechless, and so was Trunks. "I made you breakfast!" Pan led Trunks out of bed and into the dining room. Marron followed quickly. "Pan??? What's. up with-" Trunks started. "Me? Nothing! And don't call me Pan! Call me koishii." Pan purred, encircling Trunks with her arms. 'What the hell is going on!?!' Trunks thought, looking as if his whole world had turned upside-down. It may have done just that! Marron entered the room and smiled, liking her sister's kind behavior. "What is wrong with you, Pan?" Trunks asked. "NOTHING!! Sheesh.. AND DON'T CALL ME PAN!!" Pan ordered. "Okay. okay... koishii... god.." Trunks looked up. 'Something suspicious is going on... what is she trying to pull?' Trunks wondered, eyeing Pan. After breakfast, Trunks got dragged outside into the rose garden. The roses and leaves were covered with dewdrops. The sun was shining brightly. Everything was perfect. "Trunks-chan? Why don't we go play in the fields?" Pan asked, eyes glittering. "Uh.. sure. I guess.." Once again, Trunks got pulled out of the castle, the market, and out into the fields. "You know.. I really enjoyed that kiss... would you mind if... um." Pan started out shyly. "Yeah?" Trunks smiled, forgetting about everything except this nicer Pan. "Uh. if. we-" Trunks cut her off with a smooth kiss. How he learned to kiss like that, she didn't know, especially when he was just 14. They laid on the green grass, basking in the sunlight. Trunks rested his head on Pan's stomach.
"Koishii?" Trunks asked. "Yeah, Trunks-chan?" Pan giggled when she saw him blush. "Why.... why do you.. well, why the sudden change?" Trunks asked. "......" "Koishii? ... Pan???" Trunks asked. He looked up and saw Pan, smirking her usual devious smirk. "What change? I haven't changed.. ok, well.... WE haven't changed..." Pan said as motioned to all the other Pan's. Pan flipped backwards, landing right in the circle of other the Pan's. Soon, the ten of them surrounded Trunks. Trunks realized then that he had been tricked. He was so gullible! Following her all the way out here. "So, who's the real one? That's for us to know and you to be clueless." they all said at the same time.
