Trunks whirled around to find another Pan. His eyes quickly darted around the field, observing what all ten Pan's were doing. (HEY! DID YOU READ THE A/N!?! I CHANGED THE AGES!!) "What the hell is going on!?!" Trunks shouted. He was extremely confused. "Who's the real one? Do you know? Take a guess.. you had all day to get to know the true me. Three questions... make them count.... and no asking who the real one is.. or you shall fail...." all said calmly. 'Fail? What do they mean 'fail'?' Trunks asked himself, totally baffled. "We aren't going to wait all day goddamnit.... Hurry up," one ordered. "Uh..... who's got the ocarina?" Trunks asked. "I left it in the bedroom on my desk," everyone said, smirking. "Come on....... there's one question that you can ask that will get rid of all of the fake ones.. think," the Pan's said. 'One question? ARGH! WHAT IS IT!?!' Trunks was rubbing his head so much, Pan thought his lavender hair would fall out. "Who's been living with me for the past few days?" Trunks asked, using up his second question. "All of you imbecile," everybody said, charging up a different attack. Just then, the sun shined the girls' way. Trunks looked into the clear crystal river and his eyes widened. 'That's it.' "WHICH ONE OF YOU HAS A SHADOW!?!" Trunks yelled. All of a sudden, every Pan disappeared. 'Phantoms.... that's what they were,' Trunks thought. 'Hm.. smart.... I never expected him to get it. That moron has a lot of luck........' Pan thought, a safe distance away so Trunks wouldn't find her there.
On the way back, Trunks started thinking. 'Why are all these weird things happening to ME of all people? I blame all this shit on Pan.... but, those ten Pan's.... heh.. It was easier than the illusion thing.... No shadows.... thank god the sun was casting down on them at that exact moment...' Trunks walked across the bridge into the market. When Trunks finally got to the castle, it was lunch. "Marron! Do you know where Pan is?" he asked, eager to question Pan a bit. "Oh, I don't know where my dear sister is. I think she's up on the ninth floor..." Marron pondered. Then, smiling kindheartedly, she turned around and walked back to chat with some of the guards. 'I'm going to have to talk to her.... Maybe she knows what the hell is going on....' Trunks speedily ran up to the ninth floor. Sure enough, there Pan was. "Yes?" she asked dully, looking out the window at the clear blue sky. "Why are all these dumb things happening to me!?!" Trunks blurted out. "What ever are you talking about?" Pan turned over and looked at Trunks right in the eyes, a tedious look on her beautiful face. The sun shone on her silky ebony hair making her look almost angel-like. Even so, her eyes were all that mattered. He could tell what mood she was in just by looking into those two black orbs.
'Damn my hormones...' Trunks thought bitterly. "You know about all the weird shit that's been happening to me! WHAT IS GOING ON!?!" Trunks roared at the dark princess. "Hmph.. for the last time, don't talk to a princess that way or you shall find yourself dead tomorrow," Pan walked passed him. This time, Trunks caught her knee to his stomach. "Tell me..... I know you know," he said, glaring with malice. Pan got the look of shock off her face and smirked. "Fine kid.. let's talk," she muttered, already having a new respect for him. He watched as she opened the window and jumped out, floating in the air. Then, she descended down onto her favorite tree. "Haiyaku! If you don't get down here, you can forget about talking to me," Pan shouted. Trunks looked down and gulped. Seeing a couple of vines, he jumped over to them and slowly climbed down. "Hey, I can't wait all day!" "OKAY!" Trunks said exasperatedly. He thought he was low enough to jump down into the tree now. (Haiyaku - Hurry up, if you didn't know) "Okay boy, sit down," Pan said. "Fine, but I'm older than you! Why are you calling me 'boy' and 'kid' and whatever!?!" Trunks asked. "Just shut up and listen." "FINE!" "Okay.. the stuff that's been happening to you is well... happening to you because of......." Pan digressed. "Yeah?" Trunks asked, moving closer. "THIS!!!" Before he got an inch closer, he felt a horrendous throbbing in his left arm. "Also, you should never touch a princess," Pan mumbled, jumping up and into the castle through the open window. "Damnit... why does she have to do that!?!" Trunks sighed and turned around.

"So, what do I do now? He's passed all the tests," Pan said as she kneeled before the King. "What do you think!?! Get him moving onto the three quests!" King Vegeta said tiredly. "Of course..... but..... MUST I go with him?" Pan asked. "Yes, you must! How else is he going to get around, huh!?!" "I'm sorry..." "You're excused," Vegeta said.
"Sister, where are you going again?" Marron asked sadly. "I can't tell you." Pan got her stuff and closed the bathroom door. Marron could hear Pan chant a couple of words and come back out with none of the clothes. "Where did all your stuff go?" Pan ignored her sister and shouted at Trunks to start getting ready. "FOR WHAT!?!" Trunks asked, too lazy to get off the bed. "Get cleaned up, sharpen your sword, and get down to the first floor," Pan simply said. "The sooner we get those stones, the faster my plan will succeed...." Pan whispered to herself. "GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!!!!" "OKAY!" Once they were down, Pan told her parents that she would be gone for a couple of days, maybe even weeks. By the time Videl and Gohan wanted to argue, both Trunks and Pan were gone. "HEY! STOP PULLING ME!" "IT'S NOT LIKE I WANT TO TOUCH YOU!!" Pan said as she let go of his shirt. "You're impossible," Trunks said. "And you're an asshole. Shut up and move it!" she ordered. They soon arrived at some kind of entrance. It was some kind of tree. "Hey, w-why are you taking me inside?" Trunks asked. "Because you idiot...." but Pan never finished. She was too busy fighting off the giant monsters. "Hurry up! Climb that web!" Pan said as she burned the giant man-eating plant up and jumped over to the next floor. Soon, they were in a dank chamber. "This is child's play," Pan said bored. Getting there was easier than cutting through butter for her. On the other hand, Trunks was scared out of his wits, though he'd never admit it. "Child's play, you say?" a ghostly voice asked from the ceiling of the room. The mist made it hard to see, but before Trunks knew anything, he heard Pan shriek as she hit the wall. "Gaaaah! HELP ME!!!!" Pan screamed, trapped in a gooey white substance. Tiny spiders crawled over next to Pan, eyeing her deliciously. Suddenly, a massive arachnid jumped down with a red eye, staring right at Trunks. "Today, we shall feast upon delectable humans....." it said as he crawled over to Trunks. Trunks looked at Pan who was still stuck to the wall. Struggling, she was, but she still couldn't do anything. 'It's up to me.. but if I fail, we'll all die.........'
