"Yes, oh, and I have a present for you!" Pan smiled pleasantly as she slugged Trunks in the chest sending him to the back of the room. The force and impact left Trunks breathless as he fell down into all fours, gasping for air. "THAT is for burying me ALIVE you damned bastard!" Pan snarled cruelly. Noticing that Trunks wasn't getting up, the dark princess moved closer to him. Strands of lavender hair covered Trunks' eyes. With her sensitive ears, Pan picked up a sound like water hitting the cold ground made of stone. Lifting his head up, Pan glanced once at the boy's face and her expression softened somewhat. Before she knew it, Pan was in Trunks' tight grip. Nausea hit her as she pushed Trunks away. "Quit weeping like you're still seven. It's quite shameful to look at. Besides, we've got business to take care of," Pan smirked as she grabbed Trunks and flew out of the temple. From above, they could see canopy of greens. The beautiful and rich colors meshed together formed something of an abstract painting; never together, yet so meaningful and fluent. "It's too bad.. this place is so wonderful and peaceful," Pan muttered, raising her hand and blasting away like a crazed lunatic. "WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!" Trunks shouted, wiping away his tears. "A shortcut. We can't afford to spend all that time searching for the essentials to get to the subordinate that runs this place for the King of Evil," Pan quieted down. "You mean Veget-" "COME ON!" she screeched, dragging Trunks back into the debris and rubble. The dust was finally settling down after those explosions that caused this mass destruction.
Sooner than expected, many ghosts started surrounding Pan and Trunks, each looking like the other. "Focus...." Pan whispered to Trunks as she somehow slipped out of the circle. "What do you mean 'focus'? On what? The fact that I'm obviously delusional!?! How many of those are you seeing anyway!?!" Trunks wondered in a stupor. "ONLY ONE IS REAL! Find that one and destroy it. If you can't, you're as useless to me as a book on scientific notations is to a drunkard," Pan said with a toss of her ebony tresses. Grumbling, the youth unsheathed his Master Sword. Powering it up, he cut through all of them until he felt something. That was when he put his other hand on the sword and sliced through the real spirit. The ground started to quake as the torches around the room lit themselves. "Follow me," she instructed, entering the wooden elevator with the exquisite and enchanting carvings. "Haste makes waste.... And clearly," Trunks muttered, looking around the wreckage, "that is proven today...." "Stop mumbling proverbs to yourself and come on!" Once in the crypt, both got off the elevator. Quietly, Pan sat down on the velvety carpet and sighed a heavy sigh. "Well? Why are we waiting here anyway?" The dark princess could hear the enthusiasm and reluctance in the boy's voice. 'A walking talking paradox.....' Pan mused to herself as she laid back. Seeing this action, Trunks gave up and sat down next to the austere mystery also known as his companion. A disturbing silence fell upon the resting pair, yet neither thought of speaking to lessen the tension. Finally fed up with this, Trunks tried thinking of something to ask Pan. 'Damn... I haven't seen her in ... supposedly seven years... So why the hell don't I want to question her?' he asked himself. "Because you feel as if it'd had only been ten minutes since you saw me when you BURIED me and went into the time chamber," Pan answered, reading his mind perfectly just like a psychic. Trunks grinned surreptitiously and changed the subject to why they weren't going in.
It became still again when Pan suddenly gave an awkward and unlikely answer. "I don't want to," Pan declared with a rather forlorn look. "Hey, you can't just say something like that and leave the situation like this! The whole world does not revolve around you, so why must you act like it does? Everyone is in danger and being selfis-" "Shut up. I am in no mood to listen to you preach about this crap. I don't give a damn if the world burns in hell. If you want to, you go on ahead and try to find the door to the ruler of this temple. I don't feel up to the 'challenge'," Pan mocked as she laid back down, looking up at the ceiling once again. Trunks growled and looked around the room. All he could see were the prison bars surrounding treasures, yet he couldn't figure out how to get into those specific rooms. "PAN!" Trunks whined indignantly. "Still as immature as ever. Oh well... nothing in this universe is perfect. God is here to screw us all... Maybe I'll become an atheist," Pan considered. "If you keep thinking like that, you'll die and rot down under," Trunks muttered. "I'd rather die and rot down under than help others and be all giddy with my 'good deeds'.." Pan replied crossly. Knowing better than to go deeper into this meaningless quarrel they were having, the astute youth raised both of his hands signifying that he gave up. With a smugness that no one else could wear proudly on their faces without seeming stained, the dark princess tossed her shiny hair to the side. Her eyes snapped open and with slit eyes, she took a good look at the former useless orphan who had indeed matured as much as she didn't want to admit it. Her sharp senses and clairvoyance skimmed over his body before he could even tell that she was in fact looking at him.
"What?" Trunks wondered aloud. "Nothing," was the simple answer he received. "I... just think we should get going," Pan said exasperatedly. The dark princess went over to one of the walls and gave it a slight push. The big block rotated and entrances that were once leading to boulders turned to some of the rooms where prison bars used to be. Again and again Pan pushed until she finally found the entrance to the boss's room. "Pan..." Trunks started with an incredulous look as he walked up to the door. "What now?" Pan asked. "Just HOW are we supposed to get in there without a key," he finished, pointing to the giant-sized lock. "Like this." A few chants and Pan reached into thin air, pulling out a golden key with a ruby jewel at the top of it. In amazement, Trunks grabbed the object and looked from the key to Pan and back and forth. "My vast knowledge has only expanded throughout these seven horrendous and unduly years of misery and deceit," Pan shrugged with an icy expression, then pausing as if she was reminiscing in the past events that had caused such pain. As they both entered, Trunks went up first into a circular room with exact paintings hung everywhere inside. When he walked across the room, he picked up some kind of sound. "Pan, I do-" The moment Trunks turned around, he found not Pan, but a man laughing and riding out of a painting on a black stallion. '... Like the one..... In my dream.. when I lived in....' Trunks couldn't finish his thought as the ghoul-like monster jumped at him, striking down with his staff. "PAN! WHERE ARE-" "Trunks..." There, bound to a cross was Pan. Her moaning made the mess all the more difficult for him. There he was, in a middle of a fight and his mentor was being crucified.
With much effort, Trunks turned away from her, thinking that this needed to be dealt with first. Raising his sword, Trunks slashed at the painting which the ghoul had taken refuge in. The moment his sword hit the canvas, he felt a large electric jolt run through his body. More laughter was heard as the monster retreated into another painting. "DAMNIT!!!! Wait, if it's electricity... And this sword is good enough to earn the title 'Master'.... then..." Trunks said with an idea. Closing his eyes, he focused his mind and energy. The sword started glowing with light as the monster reappeared again. With his god-like speed, Trunks rushed towards the ghoul and before it knew what was heading for it, the lavender-haired warrior's aura flickered and turned crimson........ the crimson of blood from a deathblow. "Die," he whispered before the sword destroyed the phantom disappeared with a last screech. "Poor pet.... didn't even stand a fraction of a chance against me," the grown warrior said, feeding his own ego. His gaze fell upon the distressed lady. "Trunks, get me down from here!" Pan ordered tersely. "I am not Trunks. I am a part of him.. a spirit, shall I say.... besides, don't order me to do something that you can so easily accomplish by yourself," he said, not fooled for a second; Pan's once agonizing façade dissipated into an iniquitous appearance. "Well, aren't you proud of yourself? You figured it out just like that when your naïve counterpart couldn't......" Pan walked closer, mocking him as she clapped. "Even so...... your little equivalent is much more becoming than you'll ever be," she murmured into his ear. "He is nothing but a vessel for my spirit to reside in. Besides, what do I care what you think of him anyway?" he asked.
She, however caught his grimace and immediately reached down to feel the bulge between his toned legs. "Really now... you shouldn't lie to your mistress," Pan chuckled quietly. "Obviously, you're..... erotically charged right now. So, don't you feel like you need to sate your lust?" she asked with a short giggle. Before she knew it, he had captured her hands and dug his claws deep into them. The sweet smell of blood was enough to drive the warrior over the edge. His breathing became ragged once he started rubbing against her. "Oh, bad boy...." Pan teased. "You don't know what you've gotten yourself into girl," he smirked. "Oh? Well, maybe I do, maybe I don't.... let's just see, shall we?" Pan spoke, tracing his muscles with a single finger and then............
