Family TV Night
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ugh." Harmonia groaned. "Deimy, how can you watch that crap?" Her head turned to the kitchen where the faint sound of her father rustling through the fridge muttering something along the lines of 'Where is the Budwiser?' could be heard. "Check behind the giant pickle jar." With a happy click of a bottle opening her attention returned to the tv. "I don't pay 50 bucks a month for 200 channels so we can constantly watch 'Xena: Warrior Princess' reruns."
"TV is useless." Phobos muttered. Marissa shushed him with a finger. Deimos scowled. "Oh Phob, you're still in mourning from them canceling American Gothic all those years back. Besides," he faced his sister, "I rather enjoy watching Xena."
"You would. I mean come on. They could at least tell the story straight."
"You're just jealous that you didn't make either series." Strife cooed in her ear. On Sci-Fi channel Xena waltzed in the room with a fancy blue gown on. "I am Harmonia, your fairy godsmother."
"UH! As IF!" She squealed. "I have never been so insulted in my entire life!"
"Isn't 'Interview with a Vampire' on HBO tonight?" Phobos asked his wife.
"Where's Discord?" Ares handed Strife a beer.
"She taped 'Passions' earlier today and is playing catch-up." He sipped slowly then handed the bottle to the disgruntled goddess on his lap.
"No way." Harmonia pushed it away. "You guys and your Lite beer. It tastes like piss."
"Drink much piss?" Deimos taunted. She responded by hurling the remote at him nearly missing Aphrodite.
"Hello! You almost clocked me with that thing." "Such a pity, too." Ares mumbled.
"Jump up my ass, Ares."
He grinned evilly. "Been there, done that."
"Too much information!" Harmonia's hands when to her ears.
Pallor flipped through the TV guide on the floor. "Hey, The Birdcage is suppose to be on."
Harmonia whispered to Strife, "No one would have pegged him for the gay brother."
"Isn't tonight, Thursday?" Ares pointed out to her.
"Yeah, I think so."
"Gimmie that." Dite pulled the remote from Deimos' reach. "That movie I directed is finally out." Everyone stared at her when the channel changed to a woman and two men fucking.
"No one wants to watch porn, Mom." Phobos whined.
She crossed her arms. "It's adult enteratinment."
"It's porn." Harmonia stated frankly. "Ok, let's take a vote. Those for 'Interview with a Vampire?"
Phobos and Marissa waved. "Ok, two for Interview. Now who's for The Birdcage?" "Probably only me." Pallor shrugged.
"Ok, now who's for Xena?"
Deimos raised his hand. "You're not with me on this one?" He glared at Emily. "Sorry, hun." She shrugged, "You're on your own here."
Harmonia smiled. "You might not be married yet, but you are my new favorite in-law." She stuck her tongue out at her brother. "And Thursday night Smackdown?" Strife, Ares, and Emily waved. "Including myself that is four for WWF." Deimos glared at his fiance as if she were a traitor. "And last but not least, Mom's porn." Dite was the only one for it. "Well I do believe that settles things. Mom, flip to UPN. I do believe Smackdown has begun."
