Conspiracy Theory
Seven people trapped in one room. A room with hidden cameras. They had sat in silence for twenty minutes. Finally Zechs spoke up.
"You do realize this is all part of a plot."
Relena sat up straight, "Really?"
He nodded, "It's obvious what they want."
Hildie nodded as well, "Of course, they want Noin?"
"And you do know who's behind this," Duo stated.
Heero nodded, "Dorothy Catalonia."
Sally and Noin looked around the room. Noin scooted closer to Zechs. Relena settled herself in Heero's lap.
"This all started when Quatre bought that goat cheese in Peru," Sally declared.
"Of course, there must have been a mind controlling agent in the cheese, but the only one who ate it was Wufei," Noin replied.
"He must have started an underground supporting Dorothy at Preventer Headquarters," Duo hypothesized.
"Of course, that explains all of the accidents I've been having," Noin said. "They haven't been accidents at all; they've been part of the plan to capture me."
"But Dorothy must know that Zechs would never let her keep Noin," Duo commented.
"But of course. Noin is bait," Heero told him. "As long as she has Noin, Dorothy can control Zechs."
"She must be trying to build an empire," Sally said. "With Zechs as her strong arm, there aren't may who could stop her. Especially since she already controls Wufei."
"And she's always been obsessed with Zechs," Relena said thoughtfully. "I wouldn't be at all surprised if she tries to force him to marry her. I think her problem stems from a deprived childhood."
Hildie agreed, "Yes, there's quite a bit of evidence to support your theory. I mean the woman actually hates stuffed animals."
"Capturing Noin is probably just the beginning for her," Sally continued. "She's never liked Noin, and she the type to come up with some elaborate revenge."
"Do you think she'll try to get control of anyone besides Zechs and Wufei?" Noin asked. Zechs drew her closer.
"I'm not sure," Duo replied. "Dorothy doesn't think much of either me or
Quatre."
"That leaves Trowa and Heero," Relena commented. "I don't want her anywhere near my husband."
Zechs smiled at her, "I can't blame you. So what can we do about this?"
"Well, once we get back to Preventer HQ, we can start rooting out the conspiracy."
"First we have to get out of here," Hildie said.
"That won't be too hard," Duo cracked his knuckles. "Let's get to work."

Two very nervous technicians watched as the six Preventers began to discuss what it would take to blow open the door. When they started constructing an explosive device, the technicians had had enough. The two of them popped the electronic locks on the room.

Relena grinned as she heard the door unlock, "That didn't take long."
Duo shrugged, "For some reason explosives can make people nervous."
Noin got to her feet, "Well, shall we go?"
As they left the room, Relena whispered to Heero, "I wonder how much of that they believed. Oh well, serves them right for spying on us."
Heero grinned, "Ah, but now we can freak the delegates out for the rest of the negotiations. That's the thing about conspiracy theories, people believe them.
