Is This Love?

Inuyasha was sitting in his tree thinking of Kagome. She left for her time and had been gone for three long days. He really missed her. Inuyasha thought to himself:

"I should have known better

Than to let you go back to your time

It's times like these

Can't make it on my own

Wasted days, sleepless nights

And I can't wait to see you again

I find I spend my time

Waiting for you to come out of the well

How can I tell you, Kagome

My back is against the wall

I need you by my side

I've been this way before with Kikyo

Inuyasha couldn't take another day without Kagome. He decided that was going to visit her time even if it meant that she shout "sit" several times. He had to see her face. He got out of the tree and went to the well. He jumped in without any hesitations.

Inuyasha climbed out of the well and snuck in Kagome's house. Once inside, he sniffed his way to Kagome's room. He quietly opened the door and crept in.

He walked over to her bed and sat down near her. She was asleep. The moonlight coming from the window highlighted her face. Inuyasha lightly traced the outlines of her face. After he traced her face, kissed her softly on the lips.

Kagome woke up after that kiss. She was surprised to see Inuyasha there. Before she could say anything, Inuyasha put his hand over her mouth and said "Before you tell me to sit, I want you to know that I came here because I miss you. To me your more than a jewel detector. You're the first person that has accepted me for who I am. Kikyo didn't and never will. Kagome, you're also the one who has captured my heart."

He let go of his hand and said "You can tell me to sit now.

To his surprise, Kagome put her arms around his neck and kissed him on the lips. She then said "Inuyasha you don't know how long I've waited to for you to tell me what's in your heart. I want you to know that I feel the same way about you. Now if I wasn't on my period, I'd rip your clothes off and make wild love to you. The only thing I can offer you till it's over is a place right next to me on my bed."

Kagome moved to make room for Inuyasha. He got in and put his arms around her.

This fic is for all the Inuyasha/Kagome fans! It took me longer to do this fic than it did for the Sess/Rin ones. Again sorry for the lack of a lemon. When I'm a better writer, I'll try do one on my own.

I chose the song "Is This Love?" because I thought that it summed up their relationship to a tea. I hope you enjoyed it!
