Okay. This is one of my first fics, so NO FLAMES! I'm thinking about rewriting what I wrote for the second chapter, so I won't be back for a while. Oh! When you write a review, tell me what you like and don't like. Be descriptive (you know. Concise, yet coherent. The usual yadda)
Angels Fly
"Hurry up, Alanna! You're making us late!"
"Alright, Thom! Keep your pants on!" Suddenly, a petite redhead of about 14 years runs down the stairs. Her purple eyes are glaring daggers at her tormenter, who only shrugs in turn. "What is one more day of revenge compared to the past fourteen years?" thought Thom as he remembered their early childhood.
Thom and Alanna were twins, and were inseparable. As a matter of fact, if they weren't different genders, they would be perfectly identical.
The only thing that would give them away would be their personalities. Alanna was the forceful one, being arrogant, stubborn, and even over-bearing at times. Being of short temper, she had a tendency of starting fights. Thom, though arrogant and stubborn, was the quieter of the two, and he'd rather use magic to solve a problem than his fist. Besides Alanna, he didn't like people and made it very clear on occasions.
They madly dashed to the kitchen, upsetting a porcelain vase and almost knocking over a servant carrying a tray of food to their father's bedroom. Both grabbed a piece of toast, and gulped down orange juice. They then stopped to take a breather, only to hear the doorbell ring.
"Why do days move so fast?" questioned Alanna as she ran to the door.
"Because you like to sleep," answered Thom, despite the fact that he was running a losing race." "Figures," thought Thom. There was only so much that could faze him after fourteen years.
Alanna fixed her hair with her fingers as she waited for her brother. "Poor guy will never learn," grinned Alanna as he finally caught up.
While Alanna shared her gift with Thom, the doorbell rang once more. Rolling her eyes, she hurriedly opened the door, only stopping to smooth down her clothes.
Jon's POV
The door opened and out stepped a goddess. Her petite figure included long silky red hair and unique vibrant purple eyes. As a matter of fact, the only other person with eyes like hers was Thom …Thom!
