IMPOSSIBLE!
Chapter One
(and prologue)
I DO NOT OWN ZOIDS! I DO NOT CLAIM TO OWN ZOIDS! SO IF YOU REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT, I REALLY DON'T CARE!
Everyone has a dream and a talent don't they? They strive for a goal that seems impossible to those around them. No matter how much they are put down, they still strive for that special something in life that will bring out their full potential.
She sighs and looks down at her drawing. It was a beautiful woman dressed in a silk dress, midnight blue in color and long curly brown hair that blew softly in the wind. Her pale gray/green eyes seem to actually follow your every move and her bronze skin almost realistically shimmered.
She knew she had a talent, everyone said so. Sometimes she wished that…well she would become the best known artist all around. But one day, fate intervened.
It was her seventeenth birthday. The cake was quite big and she had many friends over. The candles flickered in the dark and she thinks of a wish to make, her breath slow so as to not accidentally blow out one.
Her eyes move over across the pictures she had drawn of big creatures made out of metal. Zoids they were called. And to the woman she had drawn earlier that day in her room and her wish came easily…unexpectedly.
I wish….I lived in their world, and looked like her….
She blew out all the candles in an easy short whisk and the lights click on, showing all the grinning faces of her friends. She wondered though, what had made her wish so easily for something so terribly impossible.
Who really knew. She didn't care. If it didn't come true than she knew impossible things never would happen. Soon forgetting about this though, she happily jumped in the pool, letting the cool water consume all of her darkest desires and deepest thoughts.
It was late that night when she finally got to sleep, far after everyone else. Around 2:00 in the morning she thought as she looked outside. She crawled into her bed, canopy hanging over it lazily shifting as the wind from her fan hit it.
She had a dream that she was standing in a midnight black room, then colors begin to pass her like lightning, coming faster and faster, more and more. Pinks, blues greens, yellows, purples, mixing together in a column and beginning to circle her, enveloping her body.
She was blinded by the light and a scream was choked out from her throat…and then a hand shook her shoulder roughly. "Hey, you, woman! How'd you get in here?" The voice was a males, gruff and harsh to the wakening ears. Her eyes flutter open and a strand of her brown hair shifts into her eyes.
Wait…brown hair? She didn't have..brown…She jumps up and backs up against a wall, looking around hysterically. The man standing in front of her had a patch covering his left eye and wild looking hair. "Easy woman, easy….I didn't mean to frighten you…" He stood there silently and she clenches her fists looking down…a midnight blue dress…
"Where the Hell am I?" The man blinked that one visable eye. "You are in the Desert City ruins…" She blinks and lips her lips…knowing she would sound insane. "What … is the name of this planet?" She was right. The man raised his eyebrow at her, looking at her with silent disregard…
"You are on…Planet Zi…." "And what is your name?" She asks attentively even though she knew the answer all to well already. "I am…Irvine." Just as his words slip out, so does she, crippling to the ground unconscious.
