Chapter 1
Cyclops lay awake in his bed. He needed to collect his thoughts about the previous day at the acceptance ceremonie. That young lady that caught his eye didn't seem quite right. Maybe it was just his gut feeling, but he had always stuck with it in the past.
Just as this thought left his mind, there came a knocking at the door.
"Come in." Cyclops said.
A tall, bald man wheeled his wheelchair into the room.
"Hello Xavier."
"Morning Cyclops. We missed you at breakfast. You should really meet our newest pupils." Prof. X let off a devilish smile as he looked at Cyclops.
"Oh god! Don't tell me you read my mind?!"
Prof. X chuckled before continuing. "And yet, you have known me for a long time, but you still are surprised when I read one of my brightest pupil's mind? I must say that I can't blame you. But, I wouldn't take interest in that young lady Joanie just yet."
"Why not?" Cyclops replied curiously.
"Because," He smiled, "Your late for the Danger Room training session with Nightcrawler, and....." Prof. X hesitated before continuing, "Jean Grey."
"Alright. Be there in a little. Gotta get dressed"
"Hurry then." Xavier said as he left the room.

"COME ON!" Joanie cried.
Her brother was slacking off and not even dressed.
"The first day at training and you forget about it?! Jeez! Fine, I'll go by myself."
"No." Replied her brother in a calm and deep voice. "I'm ready, let's go."
"Fine." Joanie replied as she dashed out the door.
