I could see them. The battle would begin shortly. If Aragorn and Gimli had not been by my sides, I have no doubt that my fears would take over me. When I looked to my side where the two were standing I could tell they too were thinking about the outcome of this war. With the Uruk-Hai getting moments closer my adrenaline started flowing. My grasp around my bow tightened and my breath grew deeper. Now that my fellow warrior elves had joined us, our efforts will not be futile.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked back to see a concerned look on my dear friends face. I gave him an encouraged nod and he in return gave me a slight smile.
