Chapter One: The Diary
Faye walked in her room and began to cry, earlier that day the Bebop received the call. Spike was dead, and Faye was the first one to find out. The last words he said kept flashing in her head. She pulled out a small book from under her bed, it was her old diary from when she was still a little girl, It was old and torn up, however, she found several clean pages and she grabbed a pen from by the TV and began to write.
Dear Diary, October, 14 , 2071
All I've ever gotten out of this stupid career is pain and sorrow. Maybe I shouldn't have joined the Bebop after all, eh? I'm crying right now. Crying all for a boy! I've been told that no boy is worth crying for. But it's kinda hard when that boy is Spike. He died today...... I told him that I regained my memory, but he walked off anyway without a word. It's hard to believe but I loved him! Now there is only Jet and I . I wish I could bring Spike back to life, maybe I can. It's called cryogenic freezing. It's where they freeze him for several years and he'll come back to life. I was frozen before. For over 50 years! But technology is a whole lot better nowadays, I heard they could get him back to life in what, 3 years? What am I talking about, there is no way we can ever do that! I mean, Where will I get the cash for it? Maybe Jet will have some money. I heard there was only one survivor, and it was this guy named Shin. He was bleeding really badly and he barely made it. I wish Spike was the survivor. It was so close to his birthday too, I had a present for him in my closet. It was a new expensive gun I bought yesterday with all my money. Too bad I'll never have a chance to give it to him. Well, I've gotta shower now.

Faye sighed and closed the old book , she got up and was about to take a shower when she stepped on something, she looked down and saw it was a picture with herself and Spike on it. She laughed and sat down staring at the picture, " Hope to see you again someday, Space Cowboy.."
