"Faith!!! What's wrong? You're going to break something if you keep throwing things into your locker like that!" Sully commented.
"NOTHING IS WRONG!!!" Faith screamed. "I'm sorry. Emily is driving me nuts and I'm at the end of my rope." Faith said, rather embarrassed for screaming at her co-worker.
"What's going on at home? Is everything ok?" Sully asked. Davis and Bosco turned their attention to Faith.
"I don't know anymore. My daughter hates me; my marriage is on the rocks. I have to get ready." Faith said, breaking away from conversation because at any moment she was going to burst into tears.

After roll call Bosco and Faith got into the cruiser.
"Faith. You know you can talk to me." Bosco said. He noticed a coloured patch on the side of her neck, just below the ear. He reached over and moved some hair out of the way. "What the hell is this?" He exclaimed.
"What?" Faith asked, scared of Bosco's reaction.
"That son-of-a-bitch! He hit you???" Bosco screamed, his face pure red with fury.
"Yes Bosco he did. Fred and I were arguing about how we are supposed to deal with Emily going out and having sex. He called me an irresponsible parent for never being home. I threw his drinking problem in his face and he lost control. That's all it was, just tempers flaring." Faith explained.
"I don't care what the hell you call it! He's not getting away with this." Bosco said.
"Don't do anything. I can handle it." Faith said.
"I can't do that Faith. I can't sit on the sidelines watching him beat you. I can't come to work and see you like this. I can't. You and those children mean everything to me. I would give my life for any of you." Bosco said, shaking because of his fury.
"Boz, its ok. I'm ok. It won't happen again." Faith said.
"I've seen it before Faith. It takes one hit, and he'll keep doing it to you. Over little things, stupid things. Over my dead body though." Bosco replied. "You tell me. The minute does this again. To the children or to you. Tell me. I'll give him what he deserves." Bosco said. "What's up with you and Emily?"
"She's a teenager. She's out having sex with the guy who put her in a coma. She's 15!!! She hates me. She won't talk to me. I don't know. I think we need to me stricter with her, but I don't know. The tension in that apartment has been unbearable." Faith explained, looking out of the window.
"She's giving you that much trouble? Do you think its rebellion?" Bosco asked.
"I don't know. She won't talk to me. I can't help her. I'm a failure as a mother I guess." Faith said, sighing.
"No your not! You're a great mother. I think I know a way to help." Bosco said.
"What do you mean?" Faith asked, looking at him.
"Let her stay with me for a bit. Just Emily and me. She trusts me. Maybe I can get her to confide in me. I may be able to help her. She'd be in good hands, I wouldn't let anything happen to her." Bosco suggested.
"You think that'll work?" Faith asked.
"We can only try." Bosco said.
"Ok. Let's try it." Faith said.
