Okay this a one shot fanfic. Of my own ending.

I Said Good Bye Today

By Mad Meg Askevron

Kohaku ran through the large room in the red building that Chihiro had left through 8 years ago. His feet hit the ground soundlessly as he speed through. His dark hair tugged by the wind. His forest dark eyes stand out starkly against his pale skin. His eye shimmered with an emerald glow when the light at the end of the tunnel hit them. His eyes were filled with hope and worry.

He stepped out of the gloom of the tunnel, but quickly hid when he heard a soft voice. It was melodious and reminded him of the soft chiming of bells. He looked for the source of the voice and his eyes befell on an 18-year-old girl sitting on a moss-covered rock. She wore a pale green dress; her hair was loose except for one braid tied with a purple, glimmering band. The sun hit her beautiful chocolate hair that reached to her knees, towards the knees it seemed a little lighter. Her black eyes, that had usually held heart-warming warmth, looked sorrowful. It was her that the beautiful, yet sad music came from. A tear trickled down both of their cheeks as the words reached him.

I said good bye today,

I remember your love,

Though I can't remember your face,

Every time I try all I get is water,

And green eyes,

Oh I will never forget those eyes,

That held such love,

And endless warmth,

I said good bye today,

The image of the scene burned into Kohaku's mind, the tugged at her shin hair, a few cherry blossoms had fallen on her head.

Though I didn't want to leave you,

I can't remember your face,

But I will always love you,

I will never forget our love,

Even if I forget you,

I know you're always with me,

Every time I see a river,

Though I don't know why,

Never will I forget the love in your hands,

I said good bye today,

You told me not to look back

And I almost broke my promise,

So now I can't see you,

I said good bye today,

I felt my tears fall down my face,

Like a caress from your hand,

I said good bye today,

When will I see you?

I said good bye to day,

Did I say it for the last time?

I said good bye today,

Though I can't remember why, but,

I said good bye today...

The song ended in a mournful whisper. "And I'm saying it again, but for the very last time." He heard her whisper out the last words and draw a blade from her sleeve, he watched in horror, his senses sharpening, he noted the way her sleeve glimmer in the light, the was the dress hugged the ample curves of her body. He dashed out swift as the wind and grabbed her wrist; he smiled down at her shocked face.

"I have heard it is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all, but sweet Chihiro, there is no need to have that loss." She dropped the dagger and jumped up, as soon as she was erect her swept her into his arms. His lean face leaned down and his lips met her's. It was as if, for at least those few minuets, they were the only living souls in the universe. Her lips felt sweet and warm against his. He scent, that he had once hated, fills his nose with its sweet smell of moon flowers. He held her tight and thought, : So this is what it's like to find a soul mate...:
