Gone She was gone…He said it over and over again to himself until he could believe what he heard from a voice so far of his own.
It hurt…It hurt so badly like the claws from Lady Deathstrike before, breaking his skin and pushing deep into his body. Like not knowing who you are or where to belong.
His heart wept…For the loss and forlornness, bringing him pain and taking his soul in strong hands. Not unlike his own, holding the crying Cyclops close to his aching heart and stroking his hair with shivering fingers.
A river of tears…A part of his heart died with her, releasing a stream of unknown emotions in form of little, gleaming drops, each crying out in vain, calling her name.
Goodbye…It was the Professors voice but it was her speaking out of him, looking at Scott so full of love like she would have had if she were there.
Choices…She had made her choice but instead of choosing the unpredictable animal with the recovering soul, she'd taken the safe way back to the one she still loved with all of her heart.
The war has begun…And it wouldn't be over until each and every person, who carried the heavy burden of her death on his or her shoulders found what they were seeking for.
Anger keeps alive…In the moment his pain was stronger as the anger, but it would come in time to replace the aching inside to keep him going, setting the animal free once more only this time fighting on the right side.
Missing her…There was so much more to say, so much more to do or to discover. Her powers were growing and the fun had just started when it was all over. The earth gives and it takes. We will miss you, Red!
Evolution…In millions of years, evolution created a world so powerful and full of strength, violence and hatred, that mankind and those with abilities too unbelievable for the human mind to accept, turned against each other.
