The Eternal Secret
What happens when Setsuna accidentally lets slip a secret that no one was ever supposed to hear, and to the King and Queen of Crystal Tokyo no less.
Disclaimer: No, I do not own any of Sailor Moon or any of the characters involved in this story.
Prologue
Ever since Crystal Tokyo was created the whole kingdom had lapsed into a kind of peace that makes people forget that there is such things as evil or war. All of the Scouts except Pluto and Saturn had married and each had taken control of their respective planets and moons. At least that's what everyone thought, since Pluto had not been heard from or seen since the end of the battle with Galaxia and Saturn was still to young. Since Pluto was supposedly only able to leave the Time Gates if there was a problem that needed her attention or Serenity called her, most did not think it extremely odd that she was not there. Most but not all.
"Hey Luna, wake up!" called a white cat with blue eyes and a golden crescent moon on his forehead.
"Oh sorry Artemis, I guess I wasn't paying attention." answered Luna, a black cat with deep burgundy eyes and a gold crescent moon on her forehead, "What were we talking about again?"
These cats were slowly walking along the beautifully decorated halls of the palace making their way to the throne room where Serenity and the Scouts, with the exception of Setsuna, were waiting for them.
"You were thinking about her again weren't you." Artemis quietly asked Luna. But all the black cat could do in reply was to slowly nod her head.
"You and I both know that she hides something, something big. Anyone who looks at her can tell that it pains her to keep what ever it is inside and yet she would rather keep it inside instead of letting us help her." Luna looked over at Artemis with a look of utter helplessness.
"It's her choice and we have to respect that. Anyway Setsuna has been Sailor Pluto for who knows how long, and as such we have to trust that she knows what she is doing." Artemis stated trying to comfort Luna and himself. Just after he said that they turned a corner and approached the doors that lead to the Throne room.
"I do hope she does, I really do." Luna exclaimed to quietly for anyone else to hear as she watches Artemis go through the doors. She then realizes that she is standing alone outside the doors now and rushes to catch up.
