His face was drenched in sweat as he ran through the streets. A woman in a
tight black outfit was following him. She always cut him off, so he had
been running in circles for hours.
"Leave me alone, you old hoagie!" He said. " You can be sued for stalking me!" He suddenly was able to attain amazing speeds. He was confused because he was outrunning his stalker. He then was back to normal out-of-breath running.
"What do you want? Will you leave me alone if I give you your wishes?" he asked desperately.
"No, for that isn't why I am here. I am here because you're looking for the answer of an unknown question," said the woman.
"Who are you?" the boy asked. He was standing in the middle of an alley, almost collapsing because he was so drained of energy.
"That is not a question you really want to know." She said simply. "But I will tell you anyway. I am Trinity."
"Ok, hello Trinity. I go by the name Smudge. But my real name is Steve. Please, just call me smudge." Said Smudge.
"Ok, Smudge. Let me take you somewhere. I promise you'll be happier." Said Trinity.
"Where will you take me?" Smudge inquired. " Could I leave the Matrix?" Trinity looked at him sharply. She looked confused, relieved and excited all at once.
"How do you know about the Matrix?" she asked.
"You mean its real? The Matrix is real?" he whispered, "One time my friend wanted us to send him out of the Matrix with an Easy-Bake Oven , but we thought he was kidding until he showed us the invention he made. He then disappeared one day so our joke is that he left the Matrix."
"Ok, then, an Easy-Bake Oven. I think we should go now," said Trinity
