Idea of mine. (Well, duh...) Basically, I messed up a pic of Mokuba and worked out a totally new person- the STAR of this story!
That was a duh as well, wasn't it?
You're probably wondering, (Or will be) "How could she get THAT from MOKUBA?" Well, the drawing got messed up really early. Basically, I'd done the eyes and messed up on the hair. So, I just gave the eyes more lashes, based the hair loosely on Mokuba's, and drew a cat-girl. Hence, Gin Kisa!

"No, no, no, how many times do I have to tell you! The red wire splices into the YELLOW wire, not the violet!" Cressida's greenish-yellow eyes glare at Gin through her striped red bangs. "You are a HOPELESS mechanic. You really are."
Gin smiles quietly back. "You're twice as bad at art, Cress." The tip of her fluffy pale grey tail twitches humorously, her cat ears pricked forward trough her purple-highlighted grey hair. Her round lavender eyes twinkle.
Cressida growls playfully back, her own golden-yellow ears (striped orange) laid back against her head. "I'm gonna get you for that, Gin. Silver never beats gold!{1}" And with this, the cat-girls leap into a mock tussle
Let us draw back and examine the pair. Gin Kisa is fifteen, and has no family to speak of. She adores the arts where modern technology hasn't ruined them (Rap is NOT music. Mozart, now...) and has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. About five-foot-seven, she normally wears oversized shirts and jeans, and never pulls her dark grey hair back. Her fur is a soft pearly grey.
Her best friend, Cressida Kisa {2}, is as different as the sun to the moon.
Five-foot-two with gold fur occasionally striped with thin lines of orange, her hair resembles orange and red flames sprouting from around her gold-lensed goggles, which are perpetually perched atop her head. Unlike Gin, she has quite an extensive family, but the only one who'll talk to her is her younger brother, Nuri. She's never explained why. She's a mechanic, and her tastes are polar to Gin's. (Rap RULES! Who wants to listen to screechy violins?)
How they got to be best friends for life is anyone's guess.
How they got to be roommates in Midgar is also beyond comprehension.

{2}: I know I said Gin doesn't have family. Then why are both their last names Kisa? Kisa is a Russian name meaning "Kitty". Anytime you see the name Kisa, it probably means that the person's a cat-person of some sort.
