The Perfect Couple
Acceptance-5 years later
Lily sat puzzled on her bed. In her hand was a letter. This letter wasn't just any letter; it was about to change her life. She had just discovered that she had been accepted into Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. The letter in her hands read:
HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf Warlock
Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. Of Wizards)
Dear Miss Evans,
We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

She didn't understand. She was going to Riverside for her secondary school, not to this Hogwarts. She hadn't even applied there. She suddenly remembered that an owl had delivered this letter. This was getting stranger. She was disturbed from her thoughts by her mother, bursting into her room very excited, carrying her new Riverside uniform.
"She was so pleased that I had got in after Petunia hadn't," thought Lily despairingly. "How am I going to tell her about this?" looking down at her letter.
Meanwhile her mother had been talking non-stop about Riverside saying how pleased she was for Lily and how she would be so happy there.
Lily couldn't bear to break her mother's heart but she really wanted to go to this school. She decided what to do.
