A goodnight Tail By Jazzy
Sesshomaru had been walking for 3 days strait. Rin was being really patient, but her eyes were not cooperating with her.

She fought back her 6th yawn of the night. No matter what she did, she couldn't keep her body awake. She fell.

Jaken had noticed that the young human was about to collapse. He jumped to her fallen form and prodded it. The girl let out a small groan, but remained asleep. He smirked evilly to himself. If Sesshomaru didn't notice that she was gone, then Jaken would resume his position. After all, why would the great dog demon of the West worry about a pathetic human?

Something was missing. This night smelt different. But then again, all nights had seemed different to him, after Rin Had shown up.

Rin!

That's what was missing. He stopped in his track and hurriedly took a quick sniff around.

"What is it, Milord?

"Jaken, Where is Rin?" Sesshomaru growled. He had a feeling that the toad had done something to her. Toady didn't like Rin from the start.

"S-She collapsed MiLord, about 20 yards back."

"And you didn't tell me this?"

"I-I Didn't think the Great Sesshomaru would worry about a weak human girl."

"Don't ever think again, Jaken."

He strode past the toad, madder then hell. For all he knew, Rin could be dead!

He walked for about 10 minutes before he saw her small form huddled in the shadows. The girl was no longer asleep

She had woken up with no one there. No Sess-Chan! All alone, not even the gross toad! Hurrying into the side ditch, she curled up into a ball and started to cry.

A hand touched her back. She turned wide-eyed and scared, not knowing what was there. She saw whit, then her eyes focused on Sesshomaru. She ran to his stomach, grabbing it and crying into his abdomen.

He started, but eventually wrapped his arms around the small figure. His tail unconsciously wrapped around her, and he sat both of them down under a tree.

She was surrounded by warmth. She opened her eyes to see soft white fluffy fur. She patted it softly, her eyes only partially open.

He patted her one the head, then wrapped his tail around her tighter.

Before she fell asleep, her ears were blessed with his voice saying;

"Go to sleep, Kawaii."
