I see you in the hospital bed You are dying thanks to Lucemon After all we've been through I don't want to lose you
You are the angel from heaven That came down and softened my heart You sacrificed yourself to give us a chance And I do not want your deed to be in vain
I shed a single tear for you Then I saw you return to life Nothing could have filled me with joy Than seeing you well and breathing
As brothers we share a bond No one can tear it apart Brother I know we live from each other But nothing can separate us in heart
People and memories may fade in time But light and darkness shall always remain You are everything to me Koichi I don't need anyone but you brother
The last stanza is based on the last chapter of "Mienai Hikari, Todakenai Yami" a story made by Miya Wada. It was one of the first Koji/Koichi stories I have ever read and you can find it in my "Favorite Stories" section of my profile. This is a spoiler poem based on the last episode of the Digimon anime and I felt I had to write it. I can't wait until I can see the final episode on TV. Any Digimon poem requests are welcome but for now I am concentrating on my fics. I am also planning to open a new Fanfiction.Net account under "Melinda- chan" or some other suitable name for all my future non-Digimon works. This should take place in June or July at the latest.
