Duo Maxwell Vs. Trowa Barton
Duo Maxwell and Trowa Barton are so similar, yet so different. Their back rounds and jobs have so many points that can be positively compared. Duo and Trowa, although unknown to each other, are orphans of the war. Both of the boys have lost so much to the war, and yet, they are part of the group that keeps the war going. You see, Duo and Trowa pilot large, mechanical robots called Gundams. If people found out that these two pilot the Gundams their lives might be in danger, so they live double lives. In order to show that they are strong, they hide their emotions. Also, both boys have acquired nick-names from their co-pilots. However, they have different ways of hiding their feelings. Duo pretends to be constantly happy, while Trowa hides his feelings in silence. These tow also have different ethic back rounds. Duo Maxwell is an All- American patriot, while Trowa is a modest French boy. As was mentioned before, both boys have nicknames, but both are very different. The other boys call Duo "Shinigami" which is Japanese for "God of Death". Trowa, however, has a more quiet sounding name. Every one calls him "Silently Crying Clown". Also, as was said, both boys are orphans, but each was brought up in different atmospheres. Duo was raised in a Catholic church, and Trowa was brought up by mercenaries. Even though these tow boys are so different, they really aren't! Both are orphans, even if they were raised differently. Both hide how they feel, even though one always acts happy and one never talks. They both have nick- names, but one calls himself "Death" and the other calls himself a "Silent Crying Clown". So, even thought these two are as different as Pluto and Jupiter, they still manage to be really good friends!
