A hero as a baby,
The first to live,
When challenged by Him.

Growing up to think,
Believe that he's nothing,
And always less than second best.

Heart blackening,
With more than just age,
He despises his heroic title.

Pondering betrayal,
Threads of deceit,
They at least keep his friends happy.

On the other side now,
The raven-haired legend,
Responsible for the known world's end.

Eyes of green ice,
Grinning at the victory,
This time he regrets nothing.
